VertiNode Integration

A package that allows both independent operation of the application, i.e. complete management of materials, space, storage strategies, etc., as well as connection to the customer's superior system using a mutually agreed communication method.

The application is tasked with managing the controlled defined part of the customer's warehouse and, through mutual interconnection, fulfilling the requirements received from its system as effectively as possible to achieve time and machine efficiency.

The goal is to facilitate the customer's WMS or ERP system in the processes necessary for the effective use of warehouse automation. Mostly, this is a so-called "black box" scenario, where this part of the warehouse is managed as one warehouse location for the customer's system, regardless of the size or number of devices that Vertinode has under its management.

Features

RFID login
Option to use RFID chip cards for application login (hardware not included).
Lot handling
Possibility to enter the specific identifier of the material being placed into the location.
Zone Management
Division of shelves within machinery into zones for further logical utilization within material placement strategies.
Inventory
Ability to initiate inventory checks of a product or logical segments of equipment (e.g., shelf groups).
User Management
Management of users and user groups, definition of access rights for individual users and groups.
BIN Management
Management of material storage capacity types, monitoring capacities of these areas, graphical placement on shelves.
Manual Storage Operations
Locally initiated basic warehouse operations (stock-in, stock-out, returns) within the application.
Operations History
Record of history for movements and operations performed within the application by individual users.
Material Management
Management of fundamental material data, e.g., ID, additional text fields, weight, counting unit, photographs, group assignment, numeric code, etc.
Displaytool
Visualization aid assisting operators in orientation during task processing. Customizable screen typically placed at machine dispensing openings. Display can include product images, highlighted storage locations, order information, number of items…
Kiosk
Touchscreen-adapted interface enabling warehouse operations (stock-in, stock-out). Allows the definition of material groups and their hierarchical trees for easier orientation.
Storage Rules management
Management of material rules defining the behavior of specific materials within controlled warehouse areas, e.g., types of location utilization (permanent, temporary), FIFO, FEFO, recalculation rules.
Order Batching
Grouping orders for enhanced optimization of machine movements and improved time efficiency.
WMS / ERP Connection
Integration with customer’s superior systems (WMS/ERP) for exchanging material data, warehouse operation requests, and responses. Offers various integration methods (RestAPI, DB, files, etc.).
PTL & Button Control
Integration with Pick-to-Light peripherals to expedite order-picking processes. Effectively assists operators in managing batched orders, simultaneously enabling operations using color-coded buttons for color-picking scenarios.
Order Management
Ability to group warehouse operations into logical units (orders), commonly used in data exchanges between WMS and VertiNode.
