Option to use RFID chip cards for application login (hardware not included).
VertiNode Smart
In the case of larger projects, or projects with a greater focus on speed and efficiency of picking, this package adds a broader logic for working with available data. On the one hand, it involves working with current data (orders waiting to be processed) to maximize the speed of their picking, but also with historical data to improve the prediction of expected outputs.
At the same time, the use of extended connectivity with selected automation devices, e.g. for monitoring the physical location of the shelf in the vertical axis to determine the optimal picking position with respect to speed.
Features
Possibility to enter the specific identifier of the material being placed into the location.
Division of shelves within machinery into zones for further logical utilization within material placement strategies.
Ability to initiate inventory checks of a product or logical segments of equipment (e.g., shelf groups).
Management of users and user groups, definition of access rights for individual users and groups.
Management of material storage capacity types, monitoring capacities of these areas, graphical placement on shelves.
Locally initiated basic warehouse operations (stock-in, stock-out, returns) within the application.
Record of history for movements and operations performed within the application by individual users.
Management of fundamental material data, e.g., ID, additional text fields, weight, counting unit, photographs, group assignment, numeric code, etc.
Visualization aid assisting operators in orientation during task processing. Customizable screen typically placed at machine dispensing openings. Display can include product images, highlighted storage locations, order information, number of items…
Touchscreen-adapted interface enabling warehouse operations (stock-in, stock-out). Allows the definition of material groups and their hierarchical trees for easier orientation.
Management of material rules defining the behavior of specific materials within controlled warehouse areas, e.g., types of location utilization (permanent, temporary), FIFO, FEFO, recalculation rules.
Options for bulk data exchange via files (e.g., bulk material import).
Grouping orders for enhanced optimization of machine movements and improved time efficiency.
Integration with customer’s superior systems (WMS/ERP) for exchanging material data, warehouse operation requests, and responses. Offers various integration methods (RestAPI, DB, files, etc.).
Integration with Pick-to-Light peripherals to expedite order-picking processes. Effectively assists operators in managing batched orders, simultaneously enabling operations using color-coded buttons for color-picking scenarios.
Ability to group warehouse operations into logical units (orders), commonly used in data exchanges between WMS and VertiNode.
Graphical dashboard presenting statistics and performance data of the managed warehouse segment. Time-based pie charts indicating the performance of individual machines or workers.
Advanced algorithms used for grouping orders, increasing potential hit-rate through scoring of available system orders.
Utilization of historical and locational data for performance predictions regarding the fulfillment of order deadlines. Can be used to optimize resource utilization within the warehouse.
